Fear Takes Flight

Lisa Reisert hates to fly, but the terror that awaits her on the night flight to Miami has nothing to do with a fear of flying.

Moments after takeoff, Lisa's seatmate, Jackson menacingly reveals the real reason he's on board: He is an operative in a plot to kill a rich and powerful businessman, and Lisa is the key to its success. If she refuses to cooperate, an assassin awaiting a call from Jackson will kill her father.

Trapped within the confines of a jet at 30,000 feet, Lisa has nowhere to run and no way to summon help without endangering her father, her fellow passengers and her own life. As the miles tick by, Lisa knows she is running out of time. She desperately looks for a way to thwart her ruthless captor and stop a terrible murder.

What is Fanlisting?

A fanlisting is a collection of fans that are listed to support a certain subject that the fan supports. The subject can anything such as movies, characters, and places. In this case, this fanlisting is for Wes Craven's movie RED EYE.

Why Red Eye?

Why did I want the RED EYE fanlisting? I wanted to watch this movie so much when I saw the trailer for a second time when I went to see Batman Begins. When I first saw it, it didn't really phase me, but for some unknown reason, the second trailer just drew me in. I had never wanted to see a movie that wasn't a romance genre so bad before. I was so shocked that I was eager to watch a thriller.

When I finally got to see the movie, I was left amazed. I just loved the movie, even after seeing it once. The characters, the story and the movie overall left me so happy in the end. Even though it was short, I found the movie to be enjoyable. It left those with imagination to make up their own ending instead of having an actual ending where half the viewers would love it and the other half would hate it.

I personally loved the relationship Jackson and Lisa had because they seemed to be so comfortable around each other, well before Jackson told her his occupation. When I saw the movie, I fell in love with the pairing so much that I was happy Jackson didn't die, or so I believed. He was still there on the ground breathing and his eyes were open looking at Lisa.

RED EYE really did scare me at some parts, especially when Jackson was behind the door. This movie was truly unique because a movie of the genres RED EYE fell under weren't the genres I watched. I felt that the movie was a promising movie and that I wouldn't regret spending my money on it. The parts in the trailer when Lisa and Jackson meet were what really drew me in. In my eyes, I saw that they had an attraction towards each other. Since Jackson spent time with Lisa because it was job only made the movie much more interesting. All I have left to say is that if you haven't seen RED EYE then you should give it a chance. A person can't just know a movie by reviews. They would have to watch it for themselves to have their own opinion.
